MBOMBELA – She is an icon in the world of chimpanzee rescue. She is a humanitarian who travels the world with her lucky grey monkey mascot in her arms to promote her Roots and Shoots Programme.

UN ambassador of peace, 81-year-old Dr Jane Goodall, is not only focused on saving and settling traumatised and orphan chimpanzees into sanctuaries, but to empowering communities around chimp habitats not to be dependent on bush meat and wildlife trafficking.
