Traffic offenders beware

MBOMBELA – The Mpumalanga Provincial  Traffic police were out in full force on Monday looking out for those with outstanding traffic fines.

The operation, which took place on the N4 just outside KaNyamazane is part of the department’s road-safety campaign to check compliance with the law. It also checked for road worthiness of vehicles.

“This is part of enhancing law enforcement visibility and ensure that people are more careful on the roads,” said spokesman, Moeti Mmusi.

“This also brings to book those who are not,” he added.

The operation occurs at random on the roads to ensure that road users are compliant with traffic laws.
