Security guard stabbed over safe keys

MBOMBELA – A Hi-Tech guard was stabbed in the early hours of this morning while guarding the business property where he was stationed.

Mr Jacques Ainslie, the Hi-Tech Medical Services paramedic who treated the victim on the scene said he was stabbed about 12 times.

The victim was allegedly overpowered by three men who demanded the premises’ safe keys. They allegedly pointed a firearm at the guard before stabbing him, moslty in his arms.

He was treated on the scene and admitted to a private hospital*.
