Mpumalanga weather and Dineo update: Friday February 17

Dineo and weather update Mbombela

Rain presumably brought about by the Dineo tropical storm has been pouring down in most parts of the province since yesterday with figures as high as 166 mm recorded in areas.

According to the Mbombela Municipality no damages or irregular weather has been reported but they urge members to stay on high alert.

The following rain measurements were submitted by residents on social media:

West Acres, Mbombela: 50 mm
Mara, Karino: 60 mm
Uitkyk: 52 mm
White River: 80 mm
Hazyview: 100 mm
Graskop: 166 mm
