The proof is in the pudding at Mugg & Bean Riverside

According to Dennis Wevell, owner of Mugg & Bean Riverside, what makes them different is their baking team’s prowess.

His dedicated, professional bakers are special to his branch and ensure that everything is made to perfection.

Serving more than a cup of coffee is Mugg & Bean’s unique way of taking exceptional service one step further. When you eat here the staff give you such a wow experience that you will walk away remembering them not only for the good drinks, fine food, delectable baked goods, and spectacular service, but also for the warm, caring and loving relationship that you established with them.

Recently, one of his star bakers, Sibongile Xulu, was invited to compete in the National Master Baker Championship from August 22 to 24 in Johannesburg.

Her pecan-and-coffee layered caked ensured her position as first runner-up.

Mugg & Bean Riverside can also cater for any event, whether it is a business meeting, birthday party, baby or bridal shower or year-end function. They cater to all dietary needs and promise generous portions. All platters can also be delivered free of charge within the Riverside Precinct.

Not only can you order your platters, but you can also order your freshly baked cake for home or the office. You can choose between a rich chocolate cake, blueberry-and-lemonade sponge cake, honey-and-rooibos cake, and much more.

Now you can also enjoy your favourite slice with either a bottomless hot coffee, or hot chocolate.

Be a hero for CANSA

For the month of September, in aid of CANSA, Mugg & Bean Riverside’s two teams will sell delicious lemon meringue cupcakes for R22 each, or R110 for half a dozen. In 2016 they sold the most cupcakes in Mpumalanga, with a total of 515 cupcakes and decided that in 2017 they aren’t selling to win, but just to have fun. Currently they are standing on 464 cupcakes sold in less than a week.

To order your platters or baked goods, contact Mugg & Bean Riverside on 076 986 8959 or 013 757 1036 or on Facebook.
