Final Old Joe winners announced

MBOMBELA – Antoinette Diphoko, Rosemary Pretorius and André Liebenberg are the grand-prize winners of the Keeping TRAC of Old Joe competition. They walk away with hotel stays courtesy of Mount Sheba, a Forever Lodge.

Over 26 editions, Lowvelder readers had the opportunity to collect cut-outs and win fantastic prizes. The last picture was posted on Tuesday November 7. A total of 109 entrants handed in their charts by 15:00 on Friday. The entries were audited by Stabilis Charted Accountants.

Diphoko walks away with a full romantic package, which includes a stay at Mount Sheba’s executive suite to the value of R6 500. The stay includes two turndowns, one Deluxe Pick-Nick Basket, dinner breakfast and two back-and-neck massages.

“I will be taking my husband, Joe, with me,” she told Lowvelder. The win came just in time for the pair’s seven-year wedding anniversary. Diphoko collected the cut-outs with her daughter, whom she could not wait to show the prize to. She will unfortunately stay behind, as mom and dad get spoiled.

The prize came as a massive surprise to Pretorius as she has never won anything in her life before. “I’ve given it some thought and I will take my two sisters-in-law and friend,” she said. She gets to spend two nights with three other people in the lodge’s king suite to the value of R4 250. The stay includes dinner and breakfast.

Liebenberg, on the other hand, has to decide who stays behind. He has won a stay in a six-sleeper time-share self-catering cottage to the value of R5 100. He is definitely taking his wife, Linda, with.
“I have two married sons and a little one. We’ll see what we do with him,” he said.
