VOORSKOU: This woman is a blessing to her community

MATAFFIN -She scarcely had funds when she started the day-care centre, but she simply had to, as she could not allow the children in the area to continue to wander the streets without supervision. As a parent herself, she knew this would be for the best.

“Their parents wake up early every morning to go work on local farms and they did not have anyone to watch the children. I wanted to protect them from all the things that tend to affect little kids who are left alone.”
