MBOMBELA – The South African Weather Service said although rain is not in the forecast for the Lowveld today, residents can expect rainy weather as of Saturday.
Forecasters said temperatures are expected to drop to as low as 11°C, and peak at 25°C in the province’s capital. According to website www.yr.no, however, it is expected that the mercury will only rise to a maximum of 17.
Cloudy conditions are expected to persist in parts of the Lowveld until Sunday, where partly cloudy conditions can then be expected.
There is a 70 per cent chance of rain and it is expected to persist throughout the day.
